Are you ready to learn wheel throwing?
With approximately 10+ years of teaching experience, I love welcoming you into my studio and getting the chance to teach you all about the art of wheel throwing, no matter what stage of the ceramics world you find yourself.
Option One: Private lessons
Want a taste of what wheel throwing is really like? Or do you want a chance to hone in and fix your bad throwing habits?
This 2 hour private wheel throwing lesson is the best place to start & see if wheel throwing is for you (hint: it is!) or a excellent chance to hone in on your skills with 1-1 instruction.
After a short demo, usually 1-2 pieces can be made but the class will focus on learning rather than final results. If you choose to keep your work, I will fire and glaze it and have it ready for pick up at a later date.
$155+hst/person
(1-2 students per lesson)
Option Two: Group Classes
Want more?
My multi-week workshops welcome beginners as well as those with some past experience.
All steps will be tackled, from the starting point to the final glaze and firing. The finished pieces will be ready for pickup a few weeks after the final class date.
We focus on technique and building skill, there will be a cap on throwing size due to space and kiln capacity. All materials are included, including approx. 2 sleeves of clay per person.
This small group workshop (6 students) takes place in the studio.
